In-Person in the Suwanee, Alpharetta & Cumming Area | Online in Georgia

  • Are you a Christian who is struggling with depression and feeling disconnected from God?

  • Are you thinking anxious thoughts you can’t control and feel guilty because the Bible says, “Don’t worry about your life...”

  • You made a marriage commitment, but you and your spouse are fighting all the time, and you feel you’re living with a stranger.

  • Is your teenager failing school and screaming at her siblings and you don't know how to help her? Do you keep getting drawn into verbal confrontations with her?

If this sounds like you, we can help you navigate your mental health and relational struggles with Christian counseling.

What is Christian counseling?

Christian counseling is therapy that integrates Christian faith with proven counseling techniques.

Christian counseling might be a fit for you if:

  • You want counseling from a Christian perspective but also want someone professionally trained and licensed.

  • You have doubts about your faith but are afraid to talk to someone at church about them.

  • You’re suffering with a mental health disorder, but other Christians told you to pray more and trust God but that isn’t enough.

  • You’ve been hurt by your faith community but still want someone with a faith perspective to help you overcome the pain and work through the challenges in your life.

  • You’re afraid to seek therapy from someone who is not a Christian because you’re afraid they will recommend something that goes against your faith.

Many Christians struggle with the idea of seeking out professional counseling services.

Maybe you’ve thought…Shouldn’t God be enough?

You discovered that despite reading the Bible and praying, your depression, worries or marital issues persist. While God is indeed enough, it doesn’t mean that He hasn’t put others on this earth to provide guidance, wisdom and encouragement. As Christian counselors, we want to help walk alongside you as you confront the challenges in your life.

Some questions you might have about Christian counseling:

  • We pray for our clients outside of session. During the session we will reference Scripture and pray with our clients if they are comfortable with it. If you do not want this as a part of your counseling, please tell your therapist. We will respect your wishes and not force this on you.

  • We provide clinically excellent therapy services to ALL people, regardless of faith. We are trained in the latest evidence-based techniques so we can provide counseling services to anyone who comes to our center.

If you still have questions about counseling integrated with faith, contact us to receive more information. We would welcome the opportunity to talk to you!
