1be67d3Sylvain has a Master of Arts degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Richmont Graduate University. His previous experience in the mental health field includes serving in both church counseling and residential treatment. He utilized activity-based and family systems interventions working with families of children and adolescents with behavioral issues and ADHD, as well as oppositional and defiant behavior.                                                                                                                                                 He is passionate about working with young men, adolescents, and their families – walking alongside them as they navigate growth and decision-making related to life transitions, identity, work and career, family conflict, and behavioral issues. He utilizes solution-oriented, activity-based, and mindfulness-informed interventions, paired with a Christian worldview as he works with a wide range of clients along their journeys.

Additionally, Sylvain has spent several years leading small groups for and mentoring adolescents and college students. He enjoys hiking, climbing, reading, tea-drinking, and adventuring with friends and family.
