Kayla Lin is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia and a National Certified Counselor (NCC), a credential awarded by the National Board for Certified Counselors. She earned a Master of Education in Professional Counseling from the University of Georgia and has an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Berry College.
She believes from her faith that everyone deserves love that brings authenticity and unconditional positive regard. This is how people can be truly honest and implement change that is long-lasting.
Kayla approaches every person’s circumstances uniquely in order to provide the best care for her clients. Kayla enjoys working with adolescents, couples, and families as well as with groups and individual adults. She is experienced in helping clients who are suffering with trauma, depression, suicidal ideation, anxiety, identity, grief/loss, and self-worth. Because of Kayla’s strong faith in the power of Jesus Christ and the influence He has had in her own life, Kayla is prepared to incorporate biblically based therapeutic techniques for those who desire to incorporate their faith in the counseling process. Kayla was inspired to pursue her counseling career because she understands that every person has difficulties in life and knows it is easier to walk through it with someone by their side.
Outside of counseling, Kayla enjoys hiking/backpacking, riding horses, baking home goods, and spending time with her friends, family, and her two dogs.
